    so this is what studio looks like after you try to plaster. yes there’s literally plaster stuck to the ground. i feel bad for the janitors.

    we tried plastering something 4 times. finally it worked, but left a mess.

    I wanted to reply to this post, but kept going over the amount of characters allowed, so ill just put it in here. I just finished a project with plaster (and hydracal) so i understand the pain and struggle. with that note..

    1. setting up a separate space in studio to do this would help. i would NEVER set my laptop even one foot near the area I’m pouring. and covering the ground would be real beneficial to your studio and the janitor. then everyone can pour plaster together and keep their mess together.

    2. don’t feel bad for the janitor, just clean up your mess. again, covering the ground would GREATLY speed up the cleanup process. seriously. the janitor already has to deal with the studio trash piling up and the recycling bin overflowing.. their job is hard enough. help them out a bit.

    i don’t know how far into the program you might be in, but this is just bad studio habit. just my two cents..
